Overview & Benefits
Low-E that allows the sun’s warmth into northern homes. And heats up energy savings.
ClimaGuard 75/68 AT delivers superior performance in cold, northern regions with significant heating requirements. It provides superior clarity and uses daylight’s natural beauty to:
- Help homeowners balance the desire for sweeping views with their northern-climate heating needs
- Brighten customers’ homes with 75% of the sun’s visible light
- Warm homes naturally by letting in 68% of the sun’s heat
- Meet or exceed Energy Star requirements in all northern zones, including Canada
- Create a triple-glazing solution with a high light transmission of 63%
Better U-value than pyrolytic competitors.
Guardian Industries’ glass scientists and engineers designed ClimaGuard 75/68 AT to have a strong U-value of .28, while maintaining a high solar heat gain. The result is a superior alternative to pyrolytic low-E glass that is neutral in color and attractive and optimized for heating-dominated climates.

Excellent performance in the northern zones.
ClimaGuard 75/68 AT offers excellent insulative properties and passive heat gain performance that:
- Keeps the inside of the home comfortable year-round, especially during severe northern winters
- Lets rooms with large windows and sweeping views stay well-heated and warm
- Reduces energy bills by keeping the heat inside the home, where it belongs
- Does not require edge deletion
- Can be used in triple-glazing applications for even lower U-value without major sacrifices in light transmission
